Description & Requirements
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing ICT services to the business.
Administrative Duties
Advise management on all issues regarding use of Information Technology in relation to Setyon SACCO business processes, implementation, review and maintenance of all ICT systems/services including website, internet, social media monitoring, systems audit, access authorization.
General Duties
- Manage the ICT infrastructure and server of the SACCO through planning and organizing systems for efficient and effective business operations.
- Develop and communicate disaster mitigation and recovery plans in-case of system failure/malfunction in order to ensure business continuity.
- Liaising with the system vendors to implement new processes to enhance operations.
- Ensuring that data and system backups are effectively administered using local and/or cloud backups.
- Managing the surveillance system and ensuring that reliable footage backups are accessible whenever required.
- Ensuring that all work stations are up and working normally.
- Supporting all departments and branches in reports development from the system.
- Trainings users on the SACCO systems.
- Database maintenance and SACCO Emails management.
- Any other role to be assigned time to time by Sacco management.
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc (Computer Science, IT) or Bachelor of IT from a recognized Institution.
- Certification in either or any combination of database systems, networking, hardware or programming will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Dynamic 365 Business Central/Microsoft Dynamics Navision in a Sacco setting.
- Knowledge of current Database Management Systems.
- Clear demonstration of thorough knowledge of current IT issues.
- At least three years’ experience as a Systems Administrator or similar position.
